The Lord Jesus has already returned and expressed the truth to save mankind, which has fulfilled the Bible prophecy: "For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even to the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." (Mat 24:27)

I was born in a Chinese Christian family, and my grandmother always used to take me to the church for gatherings and to sing hymns in praise of God when I was young…. After I grew up I obtained some grace of the Lord and experienced some of the Lord’s deeds, and I felt even more that the Lord is trustworthy. The Lord’s love for people is the truest, and the Lord’s word has authority and power and can give people hope. Not long after I accepted Almighty God’s work of the last days, I watched a gospel movie called The Mystery of Godliness: The Sequel on The Church of Almighty God’s website. Some pastors and elders in the movie didn’t accept Almighty God’s work and madly tried to stop believers from seeking the true way. This confused me, as I thought of pastors and elders as devout people who served the Lord. They always taught us to keep watch and wait so as not to miss the Lord’s coming. If they learned the Lord Jesus had returned, they should accept Him with joy. Why would they stop us? I thought of Pastor Jin in my old church. He was so loving toward believers and always yearned for the Lord to return. If he knew that the Lord had returned he’d be overjoyed to accept it right away. I decided to equip myself with the truth so I could share the gospel with him. But things didn’t turn out how I’d thought, and the storyline in the movie soon played out in my own life. If we can earnestly ponder Almighty God’s words revealing the significance and essence of His work in the Age of Law, we will be fully able to recognize that God’s work in the Age of Law was His initial work of guiding mankind after creating man. Jehovah was the eternal, one-and-only true God in the Age of Law who appeared to the Israelites, who first led them out from under the control and slavery by the king of Egypt, and then He issued the laws and commandments to the Israelites, thus initiating God’s personal guidance of mankind’s lives. In the Age of Law, God issued many laws and commandments that mankind must abide by, and among them, the three most important kinds were: First were the Ten Commandments; second was the Sabbath; third were sacrifices, which were primarily sin offerings, peace offerings, and burnt offerings.
