The Lord Jesus has already returned and expressed the truth to save mankind, which has fulfilled the Bible prophecy: "For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even to the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." (Mat 24:27)

The main character, Chen Qian, is a Christian who has always thought of the pastor and his wife as his spiritual parents. However, when he later accepts Almighty God’s work of the last days and happily shares the news of the Lord’s return with the pastor, he’s surprised to see that not only does the pastor not look into it at all, but instead repeatedly tries to harass Chen Qian to keep him from accepting the true way. The pastor even misleads other church members and incites them to reject Chen Qian. This is very painful and confusing for him and he wonders how the pastor, who had once seemed so wonderful, could act that way. By attending gatherings and reading Almighty God’s words, he sees the pastor’s true colors as a hypocritical Pharisee, and he’s completely freed from the pastor’s control. The last days are here, the prophecies in the Bible have basically all been fulfilled, and brothers and sisters all look forward to the Lord coming to receive us into the kingdom of heaven. But many brothers and sisters in the Lord are asking: Although we go to church every week to give worship, and we often read the Bible and we expend ourselves and work for the Lord, we are always committing sins in the daytime and then confessing in the evening, living in this vicious spiral, and we can never free ourselves from the bonds of sin. Almighty God says, “If you wish to see the work of the Age of Law, and to see how the Israelites followed the way of Jehovah, then you must read the Old Testament; if you wish to understand the work of the Age of Grace, then you must read the New Testament. But how do you see the work of the last days? You must accept the leadership of the God of today, and enter into the work of today, for this is the new work, and no one has previously recorded it in the Bible. The Age of Grace began with Jesus’ name. When Jesus began to perform His ministry, the Holy Spirit began to testify to the name of Jesus, and the name of Jehovah was no longer spoken of; instead, the Holy Spirit undertook the new work principally under the name of Jesus. The testimony of those who believed in Him was borne for Jesus Christ, and the work they did was also for Jesus Christ. The conclusion of the Old Testament Age of Law meant that the work principally conducted under the name of Jehovah had come to an end. Almighty God says, “For many years, people’s traditional means of belief (that of Christianity, one of the world’s three major religions) has been to read the Bible; departure from the Bible is not a belief in the Lord, departure from the Bible is heterodoxy and heresy, and even when people read other books, the foundation of these books must be the explanation of the Bible. Which is to say, if you believe in the Lord, then you must read the Bible, and outside the Bible you must not worship any book that does not involve the Bible. If you do, then you are betraying God. The main character has over four years of professional interior design experience. When she takes on responsibility for props and sets for the church’s movies, she tries to capitalize on this experience in her duty. She always clings to her own views, she’s arrogant, self-righteous, and rarely accepts other people’s ideas. This is stifling for her brothers and sisters and leads to many mistakes, requiring things to be redone and delaying the progress of filming. After being exposed and judged by God’s words, she gains some understanding of her arrogant nature and comes to hate it. She also realizes that she can’t do her duty well when she only relies on her own experience and strengths. She starts consciously forsaking her arrogant disposition and focuses on seeking the truth.
